The difference between mutants and superhumans is that mutants are usually born with their powers or are born with them but they are hidden, they manifest later in their life. A Superhuman is an altered human that gets their powers when exposed to radiation or in an accident. While Spiderman and Hulk are altered humans, they are generally not considered mutants.
